Ashesi University
Ashesi University, located in Accra, Ghana, is a distinguished private and non-profit institution that stands out as a beacon of excellence in higher education. Its primary goal is to shape ethical and visionary leaders who will play a vital role in driving Africa's future. Central to its mission is the cultivation of critical thinking skills among students, empowering them to address intricate challenges with ingenuity and resilience. In 2020, I had the opportunity to join this wonderful with great enthusiasm, pursuing a Bachelor of of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. As each semester progresses, I delve deeper into this captivating field, refining my skills and broadening my knowledge. Ashesi University fosters my intellectual growth by providing a nurturing environment that emphasizes not only academic excellence but also the development of character and leadership qualities.
Sunyani Senior High School
Sunyani Senior High School popularly known as “SUSEC” is a coeducational second cycle regional institution in Sunyani in the Bono Region of Ghana. I had the privilege to study General Science in the institution from 2016 to 2019.
University of Michigan
The Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) course by the University of Michigan is an excellent opportunity to build foundational programming skills. As part of the Python for Everybody Specialization, it covers essential topics which helped me revised Python syntax, variables, functions, and loops in more understandable way. The course ensures a smooth learning experience, equipping me with the tools to develop and execute Python programs effectively.
The hands-on learning and assessments will help me gain practical experience, directly applicable to my research interest in AI and signal processing. Additionally, the shareable career certificate adds credibility to my skills and enhances my professional profile. This course is a vital step toward advancing my programming expertise and aligning with my broader career goals in technology and innovation.
Duke University
Duke University is one of the world-class Universities located at, Durham - North Carolina, USA which is helping to expand the frontiers of knowledge. The university has a strong commitment to applying knowledge in service to society, At the beginning of 2021, I had the opportunity to offer a two-week course, Electric Industry Operations and Markets, with them via Coursera’s platform on full scholarship. Where I had the privilege to learn the core activities that the industry executes to bring electricity to customers including, how it is generated, how it is transmitted, how it comes into buildings, and how consumption of electricity instantly feeds back on the transmission and generation of electricity. I sincerely express my appreciation to Duke University, Lincoln Pratson Gendell, a Professor of Energy & Environment Duke University, and Coursera as well for making this happened.
Georgia Tech University
The Georgia Institute of Technology, located in Atlanta, is one of the USA top research universities, distinguished by its commitment to improving the human condition through advanced science and technology. I had the privilege to offer seven weeks course, Introduction to Electronics, in the institution in the year 2021 via Coursera's platform. Throughout these studies, I got the opportunity to understand the behavior and operation of several non-linear electronic devices: the operational amplifier, the PN junction diode, the field-effect transistor, and so on. As a result, I was able to identify the function, the operation, design and analysis of circuits that use these devices. A very big thank you to Georgia Tech, Dr. Bonnie H.
